The hotel was located in a good position for one night. Breakfast in the deck was a great way to start my day.
Very expensive for an out of date motel. If room was 50 dollars less per night, I would not be as harsh.
It was dated and needed some updating.
Really not much at all. Not terribly far from Williams College.
1. Smelly room. I found a deodorizer cone in the room by the fridge. The odor gave me a headache, and I took the cone outside. 2. The room was dark -- only 2 lights, one in the corner of the room the furthest away from the bed, and the other one on the desk. To read in bed, I had to move the lamp on the desk and bring it the closest I could to the bed. 3. The A/C (window unit) was very, very noisy and did not cool the room that much. 4. The window by the side of the bed was difficult to open and to close.Either way, it was noisy -- either noise from the traffic or noise from the A/C. 5. No outlet to plug my laptop close to the desk. I had to work on battery or plug my laptop on the other side of the bed, then place my laptop on the far right side of the desk -- not in the middle where the desk chair fits.6. One of the 3 lights above the sink in the bathroom was out. I stayed 2 nights -- it was not replaced even on the second day. 7. One side of the shower door leaked. I had to use several towels to dry the floor so that I could use the hair dryer without risking electrocution. The second day was better -- I changed the orientation of the shower head, and the other side of the door did not leak.
Incredibly small room, 12 inch step up to get in,holes in bed linens
For the price, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The motel was located perfectly for the things I had planned during my vacation. My room was very basic, but it had a comfortable bed, as well as a small fridge and microwave. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful.
The room had a smell when I first entered it, but I did not notice it once I turned on the air conditioning.
It was a typical motel, but it was clean and fine. I would stay there again.
Staff was very friendly
Room is the size of a large closet at best. Very small.
Nice patio w/ chairs. Friendly front desk worker.
Very weak water pressure in shower. No shampoo provided (other toiletries were, though).
Great spot for overnight if you are doing theatre and museum. All you need in small space.
Amazing quality, tiled bath, A/C, very quiet, owner very helpful in local communications quandary [no cell bars, difficulty in business contacts, etc.]
The place is wore out, unclean, rooms were cramped.
I liked the convenience of the motel. We were by all the museums, such as The Clark, Williams College Museum, and Mass Moca. I found the owners very friendly and helpful too.
It was quiet, clean, close to restaurants and shops, different from the standard, bland and boring motel atmosphere.
Except for the pillows (too puffy for me), everything was fine.
The service at the Williamstown motel was great. The man at the desk was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again if visiting the area.
